To use Drivematics you simply download the Drivematics app and sign up to our website, enter the your unique ID into the app and youre ready to start recording your journeys. Journey data is stored on a secure cloud based server and journey reports can be viewed by logging into the web portal.
Drivematics records:
• Journey Start Time
• Journey End Time
• Journey Start Location
• Journey End Location
• Speeds Driven
• Driving Over the Speed Limit
• Acceleration
• Deceleration
From using the data recorded we are able to give you an overview of how safely you are driving.
Drivematics also offers a mileage capture, where you can select journeys and get a total mileage and money value based to claim mileage. This Value is set per Driver.
Drivematics offers email alerts to alert the admin Email address is any driver on the account is regularly speeding or driving long distances without stopping.
Please be aware Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
